I have written a price guide for Swiss coins. For looking up world
coin prices, I'm using the Standard Catalog of World Coins by Krause and Mishler. It now consists of 5 volumes, one per century.

There's a cheaper (and less comprehensive) version which only covers circulating issues
and which I'm recommending for beginning collectors, called
"Collecting World Coins".

I'm not a dealer, and I'm only buying coins that are on my
want lists. I prefer trading coins for coins, but I also have some
Swiss coins for sale.
